In 2012, from her kitchen in Christchurch Brianne found a solution to reduce plastic usage in the cosmetic industry, and founded Ethique. This film tells the story of how she used Google Ads to bring her product to the world and prevented millions of plastic bottles from ending up in the environment.

Gen Why (Experimental Film)
Blending filmmaking and research, Gen Why examines the search behavior of Gen Z across APAC. Under the guise of a documentary for VICE we asked 18 young adults to self-document every online search over the span of three weeks. The insights from this project informed marketers at Google on how better serve Gen Z.

By sifting through billions of queries, Year in Search provides brands with valuable insights into consumer search behavior. Each film represents one of the three Search themes: (1) Value Reevaluated, (2) Aid & Allyship and (3) Revising Priorities. To bring these themes to life and accurately reflect their world, we casted exclusively real people who embody a theme based on their experiences over the past year.

Project Skate feat. Sky Brown
No better way to explain Machine Learning than to show what it can do. Project Skate uses Tensorflow, Blazepose and a combination of cameras to analyze a skateboarder's movements in real-time. It can capture speed, height, rotation, grabs and tricks, showcasing the skills of any skateboarder – no matter who they are. We invited Sky Brown to put the technology to the test.

Short: Nightshift
Personal project shot in one long night in Shibuya, 2017. A portrait of order, function, and intimate exploration into Japan’s notoriously low unemployment rate. Is this phenomenon of over-employment a hungover relic of Japan’s miracle economic past, or just a statistical artifact? Tokyo’s organized chaos personified by the hard working nightshifters that make this city swing and tick like clockwork.
